Personal data processed by us

When you make a purchase in our webshop, sign up for a course or workshop, when you fill out our contact form or sign up for our newsletter, you will be asked to enter personal data. We only process the data that you provide to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the information that we process:

– First and last name
– Company name
– Address
– Telephone number
– Email address
– Bank account number

Our website and/or service has no intention to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from their parent or legal guardian. However, we cannot check the true age of our visitors. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data being collected without parental consent. If you feel that we have collected personal data of a minor without this consent, please contact us via studio@githavaneeuwen.com and we will delete this information immediately.

Our purpose for processing personal data

Githa van Eeuwen Art Studio processes your data for the following purposes:

– When you make a purchase in our webshop, we will need your (company) name and full address to deliver the products to you. We will need your telephone number and/or email address to inform you about matters regarding your order;
– When you sign up for a course or a workshop we will need your name and email address to sign you up, process your payment and to inform you about practical matters regarding this course or workshop;
– When you fill out our contact form, we will need your name and email address to contact you and reply to your message;
– When you sign up for our newsletter, we will need your name and email address to send you this newsletter.

Our retention period for personal data

Githa van Eeuwen Art Studio stores your data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

When you unsubscribe from our newsletter, your personal data will be deleted within three months.

The data that we use for the sole purpose of replying to a message that you have sent us via our contact form, will be deleted within a year after our last correspondence.

Data that is related to a purchase agreement, e.g. a purchase in our webshop or participation in a course or workshop, we are obligated to keep for 7 years because of the legal retention obligation as a company for tax authorities.

Sharing personal data

Githa van Eeuwen Art Studio never sells your personal data to third parties and only provides it when necessary for the execution of our purchase agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. With parties that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement to insure the same level of security and privacy. Githa van Eeuwen Art Studio remains responsible for these processing operations.

You also have the right to transfer your data, or make it transferrable. This means that you can submit a request for us to send your personal data to you or an organization designated by you.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within a maximum of four weeks. A written request also includes a request by email. You can email your request to us via studio@githavaneeuwen.com.
